Arran Victory

This mealy potato variety has a fine taste and is one of the best varieties for mashed potatoes.
It has a purple-blue skin and the flesh is white. The potatoes are round to oval. The flowers are white and the plants are tall.
This variety was bred by Donald McKelvie of Arran island in Scotland in 1918 to celebrate the end of World War I.
