Henrik Norbeck's Plant Culture

Micro Dwarf Tomatoes (Solanum lycopersicum )

Datteruccio

This is a mutation that appeared among my Datterino (which are normally indeterminate and tall). One year one plant became short like this with curly (rugose) leaves. The taste of the fruits is similar, i.e. sweet and nice, though the trusses are shorter with only 3-5 fruits each. This variety has stayed constant for several years now.
The plants grow to 40-50 cm tall, but grow slowly. They are not wide and grow few suckers. Suitable for balcony flower boxes. They flower and fruit rather late, just like Datterino. This varies though, and I'm trying to make a selection of the earliest plants.
The mutation seems to be the same as in the variety "Curly Kaley".
