Dun Pea (Pisum sativum )

A dun pea from Skåne in southernmost Sweden. Probably the last variety that was grown at a large scale in the 20th century before the yellow peas took over completely. Small peas in many colours: dun, purple, mottled dun and brown, dun with purple spots. They have a rather coarse taste and are probably better as animal feed than as food for human consumption. About 150 cm tall.
