A very early popcorn variety. Small plants, only about 110 cm tall with 10-13 leaves, with 1-2 cobs that are 8-11 cm long with 12-16 rows of rather small kernels. Can be grown with tight spacing (20-25 cm between plants). 85 days (115 days from sowing to harvest in Sweden). The kernels are rather small, but pop well.
Goes back to the 1860's, and the current strain was bred by Professor Elwyn Meader from the University of New Hampshire in the 1960's.
