Dent Corn (Zea mays var. indentata)

Oaxacan Green Dent

An early dent corn with green (and some yellow) kernels. The cobs are 19-22 cm long with 12-14 rows of kernels. The plants are 190-295 cm tall with 17-19 leaves.
This variety is often claimed to originate in Oaxaca in Mexico, but this is probably not true, since this kind of maize has never been grown there. The plants have a different style. Instead it is probably originally a selection from Earth Tones Dent, maybe with introgression from some other variety.
