For me this variety is very local, as it comes from southern Östergötland, just 20 kilometers from me. The seeds are kidney shaped and beige with burgundy speckles, and some seeds are mostly burgundy. Early and good yield. NGB 17805.
Mor Kristin (Kristina Gustafsson 1854-1949) lived in a small cottage outside Kisa. When a neighbour got married, Kristin gave her some beans, and the neighbour cultivated these beans all her life and her daughter gave some to the gene bank at the beginning of the 21st century.
